Humans evolve better communication ability

Goodbye, Bunny Ears: Future Antennas May be Flat

"The long, wiry antennas that protrude from airplanes, cars, cell phones – and even the bunny ears on some TVs – may one day become novelty items. Researchers are developing a smart-skin antenna that is simply a thin patch of electrical elements, which could contain a variety of antennas for different purposes within its palm-sized surface."

The First Thing We All Must Realize.

We are not artificial. We are of this Earth. We evolved here after the Earth evolved here after the solar system evolved here after the galaxy evo... Hopefully you get the point. If not, then fine...

The point is that we are natural. It's as simple as that. To believe that, you must believe that we evolved. If evolution conflicts with your world-view, try tasting mine... http://www.thankgodforevolution.com

It is an obvious fact that evolution happens and that it happened to us. It is so obvious that I now refuse to argue about "whether" it happens or not. If what I believe about evolution is true, all the people that don't believe in evolution are less "fit" to survive in our... Sorry old habits die hard.

Now, if we are natural and our intelligence is natural then anything that happens because of our existence is also natural.

If anything and everything that we cause is natural then how in the f&%$ can we have artificial sweetener?

Well artificial sweetener evolved to fill a niche in it's environment. There was once a niche that needed to be filled by things that tasted sweet to mammals yet had little to no caloric value. Just because we are in that thing's environment doesn't mean it's not natural. Just because that niche just happened to be created by an animal's food preference doesn't mean it's not natural. It is natural. It is of this Earth. It evolved here after humans evolved here after the earth evolved here after the solar system evolved here.

We just call it artificial because of our frame of reference and we all know what happened when that one guy started thinking about the relativity of frames of reference...

Random after thoughts...

The petals of flowers aren't artificial simply because bees like nectar...

A walking stick isn't unnatural simply because it helps a creature move. When we look back in history and find organisms using their environment for it's benefit we call it evolution. When we see a chimp use a stick to catch a termites we call it tool use. That's just another frame of reference issue.

When we see one organism using another to the benefit of both (like bees and flowers) we call it symbiosis. When we look at a farm we call it agriculture. When we see live stock we call it domestication. This is also symbiosis. We keep the cow DNA passing from one generation to the next and the cows keep our DNA passing from one generation to the next. Same with corn, cats, dogs, ferrets, tobacco, poppy plants, marijuana, etc. Yet another frame of reference issue.

When we see an organism develop new features or organs or characteristics that help it survive we call it evolution. When we see humans developing antibiotics, prosthetic limbs and faster cars that help them survive we call it technological advance.

Technology is biology. One may argue that technology can't be considered biology because it isn't advanced by nor controlled by DNA or genetics. If one did argue that, one would be absolutely wrong. Our technology and inventions are controlled completely by our DNA.

Most obvious is the DNA responsible for our intelligence. Without our intelligence there could be no invention.

Then, our intelligence combined with our other DNA is where technology comes in. For Example...

Our DNA is responsible for the shape and size of our hands. The shape and size of our hands are responsible for the morphology of keyboards, steering wheels, walking sticks, gloves, coffee mugs, cigarette lighters, cigarettes, pistol grips, pistols, pens, markers, refrigerator door handles, pop bottles, bottle caps, bottle openers, finger nail clippers, door knobs, remote controls, light switches, dildos and slot machines.
